The Orchid and The White Orchid by wenlaine
This dollhouse kit, The Orchid by Greenleaf started out to be a Victorian Dress Shop and during the building of it, which wasn't going too well at all, I came upon the idea of making it My Wicker House. I had never done wicker before but thought it would be a challenge. Well, it turned out that I enjoyed doing wicker very much and have since made many items.
The rug pattern came from the book "Needlepoint 1/12 Scale" by Felicity Price and was cross-stitched by me.

All the books on the shelves were made by me using Fimo. The carpeting is upholstery fabric. The roofing is a new product of velcro which I loved working with.
