The Gloucester by wenlaine
The Gloucester was the first front opening dollhouse that I've built and it's been an interesting couple of months.  I really like the idea of having three sides to every room to decorate without windows to get in the way.  Up until now the only problem I've had is with the roof.  It didn't seem to want to go as was intended so I ended up taking it apart and trying a new approach.  I finally got it on properly.
The Wiring is Done
The Flooring is Done
For the flooring I used Greenleaf's wood tiles and I was quite pleased with how they turned out.

The bathroom table and cupboard were both HOM kits and the towels were made by me.  I decided on a mirror over the bathtub and I made the fern from a kit.
The kitchen floor tiles were the 12" x 12" floor tiles from Home Depot cut into 1" squares on a bandsaw.  I used vinyl spackle for the grouting.  The chairs were from a HOM kit and I made the table.  The lower kitchen cupboards were a Greenleaf kit and the upper cupboards are Michael's bashed hutches.
The main bedroom with lighting.
The kitchen with some accessories.
I've recently put in the windows and door.  The inside of this front opening door is painted white and I will be making blinds and then later I will make curtains.  I've decided on stones (egg cartons) for the exterior of the house but I still have a long way to go before I'm finished.   Instead of hinges to attach the door, I'm using thin strips of  magnets.
The nightstand was made by me using matchsticks.
The dining room table and chairs were a Reallife kit and the dresser was a HOM kit.
The livingroom couch,  chair and footstool were made by me as well as the punchneedle rug.
The roof trim is finished and now on to
The McKinley next.
