I've started working on The Country House and this is what I have accomplished as of today, the 15th of June, 08. I have the front and entrance walls up and the left side wall in place.
This dollhouse is going together perfectly. The upstairs will just have one bedroom on the right and a bathroom on the left at the front of the house. I will also be adding a room behind the bathroom. The exterior is going to be white siding with black trim.
The porch is dry fitted for now until I do the siding. All the gaps and cracks have been filled with spackle and all sanded smooth.
The outside trim is done and all ready for me to start the siding. I'm looking forward to that. I haven't decided what to do with the porch floor yet.

The Beginning of Siding the Country House
The siding is finished, or so I thought. Once I had taken these pictures, I realized the sides of the dormer window need to be done. I will be starting the roof tomorrow so I will finish the siding then. The porch roof is not attached yet, I just wanted to make sure it fit.
Shingles are Done
The porch roof and pillars along with the shutters need to be painted. That's next on the agenda and once those things are done, I can then move on to working on the inside.
The shutters and porch are finished.
I made the couch and chair for this house and decided on a rug for the livingroom.
I've used wallpaper for the ceiling for the downstairs. I'm waiting on the kitchen/dining floor to dry before glueing it down.
Today was a great day for mini-ing. I managed to get the windows and trim done downstairs. The kitchen floor has been put down and the baseboards for the downstairs are finished as well. The crown molding will be next.
The Kitchen
These are the bathroom and bedroom items I'm going to use for this house.
The livingroom from the back and side of the house. The livingroom lamps were made by me for this house. The organ is a Chrysnbon kit.
I'm in the process of crocheting a tablecloth for the kitchen table. The organ needs some sheet music. The downstairs, other than making the drapes and curtains and adding some little items in the kitchen, is pretty much finished. Now to start working on the upstairs. The lighting will be added last.

I also changed the fridge to a white one. I'm not sure which I like better.
Organ now has sheet music.
I made some oranges for the table.
I decided to change things around and the bathroom here is now the bedroom and the bedroom as been divided into two rooms, a bathroom at the front and a sitting room to the back.
Drapes for the Livingroom
The room with the staircase will be a sitting room. I made the chair today and I'll make another and have a bookcase or table for magazines or books. I'll be using the bathroom set that I had originally planned to use.
I changed the fabric of this bedroom set. I needed a softer look for this room.
I made the blue chair and was undecided whether to go with the same fabric as the pink one or use another, so I opted for a change.
The bedroom furniture is finished. I still need to make drapes/curtains for the bedroom and the bathroom yet.

The drapes and lamps were handmade by me.
